The man behind the photos
A little bit about me, David HF Coder
I've been taking photographs of the world around me for as long as I can remember. My mother showed me the world of making pictures at a very early age, and never held me back when choosing what to shoot. I owe the vast part of my photographic interests to her, thanks mom!
After
taking pictures for many years, I started taking courses to further my
photographic understanding. Three years of photographic courses in High
School and being the editor for the school newspaper helped me hone my
interests and sharpen my basic photographic techniques.
I am a graduate of the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse. We call it SUNY ESF. It's shorter that way. While attending classes at the University, I took several more photography courses to make sure I stayed in touch with the medium in between the stress of daily exams. I learned some new angles to approach photography from, and was able to document many important parts of my college experience.
